My First time..

I ache in places I didn't even know existed. Muscles that have never seen the light of day were gasping for air. Sweat was pouring off my body in buckets.. My heart was pounding so heart I thought it would explode out of my chest! But BOY do I feel great!!

Zumba! is a crazy workout. I didn't even know those moves could be done by me. Holy Sh!t! This is going to hurt in the morning!

So today is day 5 of the super diet workout... and day 4 without meat. Its a little tough... I wanted a taco today But I  had a roasted cauliflower pita wrap instead and pretended it was a taco... and boy was that delicious! HAHA

I feel really good. I feel like I look sexier (even though its only been 5 days lol ) The working out is really tough, but everything that I have done so far is so much fun that its worth it... and when I am wearing a bikini this summer I am not even going to think about how bad my abs hurt, or how my butt muscles are burning...

Sunday I am going to do me some yoga... another first time. I am probably one of the least flexible people I know, hopefully this will loosen me up! Who doesn't want to be more flexible.. That ALWAYS makes things more fun ;)

Well I am going to make me a delicious double cheesy pizza with a side of cheesy fried potatoes... aka a salad. Talk to you tomorrow. ;)

Bumping and grinding...

So, recently (Monday) I signed up for a weight loss contest... Team of 5 competes over 6 weeks to lose the highest percentage of body weight. Whoever does wins $5000.. Sounds great right?? Well it is. $5000 is a great incentive. Who doesn't want five grand? So Signing up made me a premier member at the gym that is doing it. Meaning... I can take all the aerobics classes that they offer if I want to. So I do.


Well, tonight I took a Burlesque style bump and grind class. BOY was it fun! I felt so incredibly sexy. Hips grinds and thrusts.  HAHA who doesn't dance around in their underwear in the comfort of their own home?? I know I do.. This was just like that... only fully clothed and with A LOT of other people.. It was so much fun! we learned an entire dance routine. It doesn't look very sexy when I do it... But it has the potential to be!! HA! I'm probably going to be practicing at home in front of my dogs for the next week till the next bump and grind class. Then I'll show them! "Brittany can SO bump and grind" (and look mildly sexy doing it!) I am all over this aerobics class thing. Tomorrow I am in it for Zumba! I've heard good things so I am sure I will have a ton of fun! I'm excited.
I think I can stick to this weight loss getting healthy thing.. It could work for me...

Run Down

Here's a rundown:

I have been overweight for most of my life... except maybe when I was born... HAHA I've been seriously lacking in motivation... I'm not going to say I have tried everything and worked hard and got no results cause we all know that isn't true.. We ALLL know that we all say the same things. "I try so hard and nothing is working!!" Everything works if you keep persistence... I've tried things... I have lost weight, only to gain it right back. What can I say?? I love food! Who doesn't? I think everything that is delicious in life is all the things that put the spare tire around my waist and the cottage cheese in my thighs. I don't work out, yeah... I've had gym memberships.. COUNTLESS gym memberships... Paid for them and everything. Did I go?? HA! sure... for the first month or less. Then I lose interest.

Well, This is a new year. I am actually going to do this. No more pleasantly Plump Brittany... no... From now on I am.. hmm.... SEXY in-shape Brittany.... yeah ok so the name needs some work... help me out here.

This Blog is to help keep me accountable for my actions and hopefully keep me on task. AND maybe whoever follows this blog will benefit from reading? Who knows? we are here to have fun! 

Here's a list of goals I have:

1. Lose 80 Pounds initially.. I don't want to be disgustingly skinny.. I like my curves.
2. Look GREAT in a bikini.. (it will happen)
3. Maintain my Goal weight of 160 Pounds and maybe get a little smaller ;)
4.150 Mile 2 day bike run in June with my GBFF
5. Body paint at Mardi Gras 2013!!

I am sure I will have more goals soon! But right now... Those are what I am working towards right now!
